Date: 2012-04-09 07:49 pm (UTC)Lincoln shudders and leans into Peter's embrace, breathing him in. Lincoln squeezes his eyes shut and listens to their breathing, three sets of lungs. He doesn't know long it takes for them to even out, in sync, but they slowly do, and only then does Lincoln open his eyes again.
MY HEART JUST SWELLED AND BURST. I can't think of anything else non-keysmashy to say besides 1) this is perfect - and more than I had dared to hope for when I prompted it 2) I LOVE YOU THANK YOU and 3) how can we get you on the show's writing team to make Lincoln happy there too? :) <3
